Corporate Mission

NanoCor Therapeutics, Inc. (?NanoCor?) is a biotechnology company founded to create the first viable intracellular genetic protein therapy for the treatment of Chronic Heart Failure (?CHF?). Using its proprietary Biological Nanoparticle (?BNP?) technology platform and a proprietary, patent-protected gene, the company will provide the 15 million patients currently suffering from CHF with an effective, minimally invasive, economic and safe alternative treatment. BNPs are derived from Adeno-Associated Viral (?AAV?) vectors, but have the ability to target delivery to specific tissue and express a transgene up to 1000 times more efficiently than traditional AAV. The company is based on the scientific work of Professor R. Jude Samulski, Director of Gene Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Professor Evangelia Kranias of the University of Cincinnati, and Professor Roger Hajjar of Harvard University.
